Guptar Ghat

This Guptar Ghat situated on the banks of Sarju river is known as a major pilgrimage site. There are many small temples here and the beautiful view here is enough to free the mind of the people. It is said that Lord Shriram had taken Jal Samadhi at this Ghat.

People visit this place in large numbers with the desire to attain salvation. This ghat was renovated during the 19th century. Mani Parvat 

Mani Parvat is also given great importance religiously. It is told that during the Ramayana period, when Lord Rama's younger brother Lakshmana was injured during the war, he needed Sanjeevani Booti and Hanuman ji was carrying a small piece of the same mountain carrying Sanjeevani Booti. The lead had fallen here. The height of Moni mountain is said to be 75 feet. This mountain is also home to many temples.
