Sultanpur Tourism

Sultanpur is a district located in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1858 after the British annexation of Awadh. The district is named after its administrative headquarters, Sultanpur city. It has a total area of 4435 square kilometers and is bordered by Faizabad district in the north, Ambedkar Nagar district in the east, Pratapgarh district in the south, and Raebareli district in the west. The district is divided into four tehsils and 16 blocks. The population of the district is predominantly rural, with agriculture being the main occupation. Some of the major crops grown in the district include paddy, wheat, sugarcane, and mustard. Sultanpur is also known for its rich history and cultural heritage.
