Crisis Redemption Temple

It is said that the crisis redemption Hanuman Temple in Varanasi was established by the famous Sant Goswami Tulsidas and the temple was constructed by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya at the beginning of the 20th century. Crowds of devotees provide food to hundreds of monkeys living here. The temple has also been a victim of a terrorist attack in March 2006.

Tulsi Manas Temple

Birla Tulsi Manas Temple is a famous pilgrimage place in Varanasi. The temple was built in the year 1964 and is dedicated to Lord Rama. The famous collection of Tulsidas Ji is engraved on the walls of the Ramcharitmanas temple.

Durga Kund Temple

Durga Kund Temple of Maa Durga is one of the important temples of Varanasi. The temple is located near the Tulsi Manas Temple. A procession is also drawn from Manas Temple to Durga Temple in special days.

Visalakshi Temple

Kashi Visalakshi Temple is one of the acclaimed Shaktipeeth temples of the country. There are many traditional wondrous stories about this southern Indian style temple and this visalakshi temple is a favourite place of devotees from all over the country.

Tridev Temple

Nepali Temple

Nepali Temple of Lalita Ghat is also known as Mini Khajuraho. The temple was built in the 1800s by the king of Nepal, Rana Bahadur Shah, in the terracotta, wood and stone pagoda style and the Nepali temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Sarnath Temple
