Chhatarpur Tourism

Chhatarpur was established in Madhya Pradesh in 1785. It was founded by Chhatrasal, the leader of the Bundela Rajput clan. This district is known for attracting tourists from all over the world. Raneh waterfall is also located in this district. It is the only waterfall in Asia which has magnetic rocks which are called igneous rocks. Another waterfall in this district is called Pandava Falls. According to legend in the Mahabharata, Pandavas did not take shelter near the waterfall, and hence the name Pandava Falls.

Sixty-four Yogini Temple Madhya Pradesh

The Chausath Yogini Temple was built in 885 AD by the Chandela dynasty at Khajuraho in Chhatarpur district in Madhya Pradesh. The architectural style of the temple is known as Khajuraho style. This temple was built for Goddess Durga and her 64 yoganis.
