Katni is a city in the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh. It is located at the junction of two major railway lines, making it an important transportation hub. It is a popular picnic spot in Katni city, which also has a science park and a duck train for children and a fast food center which serves a variety of delicious snacks. With green lawns and walking tracks, it is very popular among people of all ages.
Vijayraghavgarh Fort
It is a historical place which is about 33 kilometers away. There is a temple dedicated to Bhagavan Vijay Raghav and a historical fort called Vijayaraghavgarh which attracts the deaf crowd of tourists. The fort has one of the most beautiful buildings in the Rang Mahal.
Bahoriband
This place is known for the twelve feet high statue of Jain pilgrim Shantinath, many other idols and statues can be found in the north of this village including Narayan Shaishani and Lord Surya. One of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu has been found in this village near a stone reservoir
Ropnath temple
It is a popular pilgrimage center, which is about 3 kilometers from Bahoriband and has five lingam idols dedicated to Lord Shiva, also known as Panchling. There is a three tank on top of Mount Kaimor, the lowest of them is Sita Kund, the next is named Lakshman Kund and Ram Kund is the highest tank.
