Baidyanath Temple
The lingam established in the Baidyanath temple is one of the twelve chiotirligs of Lord Shiva. The place where the temple of Lord Shri Baidyanath Chiotirlig is located is called Baidyanath Dham. This chaltiling was brought by Ladhankapatai Ravana. Baidhnath is known by eight names of self-immolation, Maheshwarling, Nakaling, Ravaneshwar Mahadev, Shri Vaidathling, Narg Tatman and Bengnath. In Baidyanath Dham, people come for the darshan of the people throughout the years, but there is a huge crowd of devotees in sawan and Ashrvan mas. The main temple of Baidyanath is the oldest which has many other temples around.
Basukinath Temple
Basukinath is known for its Shiva temple. The visit of Baidyanath Temple is considered incomplete unless darshan is made in Basukinath. Located 45.20 km from Deoghar, the shrine of Hindus is located in Dumka district.
Baiju Temple
There are three more temples in the main bazaar of Deghar in the west of Baba Baidyanath temple complex. These are known as Baiju Temple.
Trikut Hills
A beautiful mountain trikuta is located on Dumka Road, 16 kms away from Deghar. There are many caves and waterfalls on this mountain. The site is famous for its source of the Mayurakshi River.
Naulakha Temple
Located on the outskirts of Deghar, the temple is known for its architectural beautifully. The temple was built by a follower of Balananda Brahmachari.
Nandan Pahar
The calm and natural atmosphere becomes even more vibrant due to the presence of a beautiful temple. Nandan Mountain is located at the end of Deghar. The importance of this mountain is due to the flock of temples built here. Dedicated to various gods. There is also a big childrens park.
Satsang Ashram
Satsang Ashram in the south west of Deghar is one of the major pilgrimage centres in Jharkhand. It was established by Thakur Adaptive Chandra. It is located in a very gentle and calm environment. Apart from the Sarva Dharma Temple, there is also a museum and zoo.
Taphavan
Taphavan, located 10 kms away from Deghar, is known for its famous Shivmandir. Tapovan, known for caves and temples built on the hill, is a delightful place. It is believed that rishi Balmiki had come to penance. They say that Shri Balananda Bahmachari received divinity by austerity here.
