Tripura

Agartala
It is the capital of Tripura. It is a famous tourist destination. Lots of top attractions rest here. It is known for fresh production of rice, jute, tea and oil seeds. The best places to visit in Agartala are Ujjayant Palace, Kunjban Palace and Neramhal. These palaces reflect the simple architecture of the imperial era.
Amarpur
Amarpura is one of the best places to visit in Tripura and is considered to be an ideal picnic spot. People often drive over the weekend to spend their day and spend their day on the shores of Amar Sagar Lake, an artificial lake built in the 16th century. The city stands mostly on ancient ruins and also has a temple dedicated to Mangalchand (eight-headed goddess). Also, if you go there during February, a fair is held to celebrate the month of flowers. There are two other lakes at this place - Doombor Lake and Chaubimura. Water sports facility is also available at Amarpura. Udaipur
It is 55 km from Agartala and is famous for its magnificent temples. There are some famous Tripur Sundari temples and Bhuwaneshwari temples. Sepoyjala Wildlife Sanctuary is also here which features a botanical garden, a zoo, lake and boating. It has many species of birds and they also have unique glasses monkeys.
Kamalpur
