Jagat Shiromani Temple

This beautiful temple was built by Shringar Devi Kankavat, mother of King Jagat Singh and it took nine years from 1599 to 1608 to build it. This Paschim Mukhi temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Radha and Krishna and its edifice has a Garuda umbrella, marble arch, a vestibule and a pavilion that are adorned with ornamental thighs and altars. This sacred pavilion has many pillars decorated in various ways and the domed ceiling is decorated with religious paintings.
