During the monsoon months, a special puja ceremony is held every Tuesday. Women fast so that their family and husbands get success and fame.
It is the most famous attraction of the region. Mahabodhi Temple is located in the east of Bodhi tree. The height of this architectural marvel is about 170 feet. With the umbrellas at the top, the temple symbolizes the sovereignty of religion. The main attraction of the temple is the Buddha statue in a sitting posture. The centuries-old stupa of the temple is another attraction. These stupas of different sizes are about 2500 years old.
