Geography

Jalor is located in the Thar Desert region of Rajasthan and is surrounded by the Aravalli Range. The city is situated at an altitude of 460 meters above sea level and has a semi-arid climate. The summers are extremely hot, with temperatures reaching up to 45 degrees Celsius, while the winters are mild, with temperatures ranging from 10 to 25 degrees Celsius. The city receives an average annual rainfall of about 300 mm.
