Alibaug Fort

Sindhudurg Fort

Suvarnadurg Fort

Rajmachi Fort 

Rajmachi Fort was built by the Satavahana dynasty, who established their kingdom soon after the fall of the Maurya Empire. He was a follower of Hinduism and ruled the Indian province peacefully from 230 BCE. This fort stood as a defensive fort to keep an eye on the Bor Ghat. As it is an important route in the west direction to reach Mumbai. This fort came to light when Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj became the king of Marat Wad. At this time the Bijapur state ruled the region. In 1657 Shivaji Maharaj fought with Adil Shah and brought this fort under his control. Under the rule of Shivaji Maharaj, this fort was made more defensive to be vigilant on this valley. The fort was attacked and captured by the Mughals in AD 1704. In 1705 the Marathas once again fought and defeated Aurangzeb's army and captured it. Later it was handed over to Angara who was the feudal lord for the Maratha Empire. From 1818, this India was under British rule. After the independence of India, this fort was declared as an ancient heritage site and a protected monument in Maharashtra.

Shivneri Fort

Shivneri Fort is located in Junnar village in the city of Pune in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is a historical fort in Maharashtra, as it is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji. This fort was built in the 17th century by the Yadavas on Naneghat hill, with which its height is about 3500 feet.
