Historical Monument- Forest-vibrant culture is the second largest city of lower Assam, the town of Bongaigaon. The city is one of the largest industrial and commercial centers of North East India. Bongaigaon is divided into two parts, one is Old Bongaigaon and the other is New Bongaigaon. Bongaigaon has some beautiful places to visit. There are also religious tourist spots like Bishnupur Sankradev Satra, Bongaigaon Eco-Development Park, Tamranga Lake and Birjhora Tea Gardens and Lalmati Durgamati Ganesh Temple and Bageshwari Temple.
