Medak Fort
Medak Fort is one of the famous tourist destinations of Telangana. It is located 2.3 km from Medak bus station and 95 km from Hyderabad. It is one of the most important historical places of Telangana. It is a huge architecture which is situated atop a hill and one has to climb 500 stairs to reach it. This fort is a mixture of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles. At the entrance you will find a Kakatiya people double-headed Gandabherundam. However, the splendor of the fort is not as it was before, as it is now in ruins state. From the top of the fort, one can get a nice picturesque view of the city and its surrounding areas.
