The district covers an area of 5,041 square kilometers and is divided into six talukas: Nandurbar, Shahada, Taloda, Akkalkuwa, Akrani, and Navapur.

The district has a significant tribal population, with several different tribal communities residing in the region.

Nandurbar is known for its rich cultural heritage, with several festivals and traditions celebrated throughout the year. The district is home to several tribal communities, each with their own unique customs and traditions. The Bhil and Kokana tribes are the largest tribal communities in the region, with the Bhil community being the most dominant.

The Bhils are known for their colorful attire, dance, and music. The Gondhal and Gavlan dance forms are popular among the Bhil community and are performed during festivals and other cultural events. The Kokana community is known for their martial arts and wrestling traditions.

Festivals
