Sonepat is a historic city in Haryana which is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, it is at a distance of 20 km from Delhi. This city was established by the Pandavas as Swarnaprastha in the time of Mahabharata. According to the epic, Yudhishthira sought this place from Duryodhana in exchange for peace. It is more famous for being the mythical Suvarnaprastha village. It is also a part of the great Yamuna Ganga floodplain and is covered with fertile loam soil which makes it appear mostly flat except for small mounds and hills. This structure is made of red sandstone and it has a plan for the Mill Mughal building. This is the most Muslim place of worship. The Dargah Mamu Bhanja mausoleum belongs to Hazrat Imam Naseeruddin and, Ibrahim (his nephew).
