The word Cuttack means army cantonment and also the capital city. The city started as a military cantonment. It is also called the Silver City and Millennium City of Odisha. Cuttack is one of the oldest urban cities in Odisha and in addition to ancient monuments, Cuttack has a wide range of tourist attractions. Being the full commercial capital of Cuttack and one of the oldest cities of Odisha, you get to know the land of antiques, monuments and handicrafts. Kadam e Rasool is the most separate mosque in India. It was done keeping in mind the religious faith of Muslims. Salipur Branch Museum was established in 1979. Statues, weapons, terracotta are displayed in this museum.
