Vythiri is a small town located in the Wayanad district of Kerala. It is known for its scenic beauty, waterfalls, and tea and coffee plantations. One of the main attractions in Vythiri is the Soochipara Waterfalls, which is a three-tiered waterfall and is surrounded by lush green forests. Another popular attraction is the Chembra Peak, which is the highest peak in the Wayanad district and offers a stunning view of the surrounding valleys. Vythiri is also famous for its tea and coffee plantations, and tourists can take a guided tour to learn about the different types of tea and coffee grown in the region.

Vithiri is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Kerala at a distance of about 100 km from Kozhikode, about 1300 meters above sea level. This place is famous for its huge green plantations of coffee, tea, cardamom, black pepper and rubber. The misty hills filled with green vegetation provide breathtaking views to its visitors. Fresh and ancient air is laden with the fragrance of nature. And refreshes your mind and soul. The main attraction for the tourists visiting here is its unique and adventurous tree house, which is experiencing one of the most special views in the tropical rainforest providing picturesque views of the valley.

Here you wake up every morning for the chirping of birds and the exotic smell of nature. The rope bridges hanging on the streams leading to the cottages provide a spectacular view to the tourist. Other major attractions of Vyathiri are Edakkal Caves located on the Ambukuti Hills, about 10 kilometers from Sultan Bathory in Wayanad district of Kerala. It is formed due to a large partition in a huge rock. And as a result the landscape represents the world"s richest pictorial gallery.

If you are a wildlife lover, you will find the large Eucalyptus biosphere is an integral part of the reserve area to conserve and protect the natural resources of Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, the best sanctuary in Kerala.
