One of the most attractive valleys in Kinnaur district, Sangla valley, is an ideal place from the hustle and bustle of the cities of the herd, it is a picturesque hill city located in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Located in the Baspa Valley, this place is located near the Tibetan border, beginning from the Karakham, ends in Chitakul.
Sangla, which means 'Path of Light' in Tibetan language. The natural beauty of this region is amazing as it is situated in the Greater Himalayas and the forest is covered with slopes and mountains. This place is famous for its pine nut gardens and beautiful trees of apple and cherry. Sangla is a major city in the Valley, which has a petrol pump, bank ATM, post office, restaurant, bar, mid-range hotel and shops.
For touring this place due to the Indo-China border around 1989, the passengers had to get a special permission from the Indian government. However, this rule was later abolished to promote tourism in this area.
