Narnaul Tourism

Narnaul is a city located in the Mahendragarh district of Haryana. It has a rich history dating back to the Mughal era and was an important center of trade and commerce during the medieval period. The city is home to many historic sites, including the Tomb of Ibrahim Khan Sur and the Jal Mahal. The economy of Narnaul is largely driven by agriculture, with crops like wheat, mustard, and bajra being the major produce.

Narnaul is a famous city. Which is present in Mahendragarh. According to myth, the forest was discovered by the ferocious lion and thus the name of the city which is the fear of the lion. It is the birthplace of the famous Suri king Sher Shah. Here the status of a vassal was with the father of Sheh Khan, who also performed his duty for Jahangir. A mining factory was built by Akbar at this place. Rajputs commanded this place. When the power of the Mughal Empire began to decline. And after the revolution of 1857, the British government took over the administration there. Jal Mahal is also known as Pleasure Palace. It can be seen as an eclectic mix of Persian and Indian style architecture. Bamanwas Temple is located in a small village. The distance between the destination and the village is only 25 km. Rameshwaradas built the temple. The temple of Chamunda Devi is another main attraction for tourists in Narnaul. This temple was built by Noon Khan. It is situated on the foothills.

Chor Dome, it is a famous place, there are four towers in different corners of the base. One in each corner. This place serves as a hiding place for many choros and dacoits. In Mahasar, March or April, a fair is organized in the palace grounds, whose name is Jwala Devi, where the followers pray to Jwala Devi. A unique feature of this temple is that wines are offered to the Goddess. Mukund Das s palace is a total of five storeys of this palace. One can clearly see many halls, pavilions and decorated rooms. There are many columns in Diwan-e-Khas. The area that surrounds this place has many fountains, waterfalls etc. to make the atmosphere cool. Where Dhosi Hills is just 8 km away, one can get a glimpse of beautiful hills. Chavan Rishi repented here, an ancient fort is present on the top of the hills.
