Kirandul is a small town in Dantebanda district of Chhattisgarh. It was a part of Bastar princely state. And was under King Anam Dev of Kakatiya dynasty. Kirandul is known for its rich iron ore mines. Which was found by Japanese Steel Mills in 1955-5. Kirandul is surrounded by dense forest, hills and waterfalls. Some areas around it are DanteshwariTemplewhich is dedicated to Goddess Sati, Batisa Temple, Shiva Temple Bailadila Iron Ore which was discovered in 1955 and it is 40 km Kadampal Tailing Dam and Kirandul Iron and mines are spread.
