Bandhavgarh Sanctuary is one of the most famous national parks of Madhya Pradesh. It was declared a national park in 1968. Bandhavgarh National Park is located in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. The park is famous worldwide for its tigers. The famous white leopard was discovered here. In 1993, the park was brought under the Tiger Project. This is particularly known as the Tiger area.
