Rangareddy is a district in the state of Telangana, India. The district was named after Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy, former deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. The district has a total area of 7,493 square kilometers and is home to a population of around 5 million people. The district is known for its rich cultural heritage, which is reflected in its historical sites and monuments. It is also an important industrial center in Telangana, with many large companies and industries based in the district.

To the north of Rangareddy is Hyderabad and Medal Malkangiri, and to the east is Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, to the southeast is Nalgonda, Rangareddy district, formerly known as KV Ranga Reddy district and Hyderabad (rural) district, is the most in Telangana state. The district is more populous. Rangareddy s literacy is 89.80%. Its headquarters is Hyderabad, the district has 5 subdivisions, 27 blocks, and 7 Legislative Assembly constituencies, and 1 Lok Sabha constituency.
