Kainchi Dham is 38 km away from Nainital on the way to Bhowali. Baba Neeb Karauri had built an ashram at this place in 1964. Ineer Baba Neeb Karauri is said to be the second form of Hanuman ji on earth. By the way, the real name of Baba was Laxmi Narayan Sharma. Kainchi Dham, which has taken the form of a grand temple since its inception, has idols of Maa Durga, Vaishno Devi, Hanuman ji and Radha Krishna.
