Akal Wood Fossil Park

This park is 17 kilometers from Jaisalmer in the village of Akkal on Bikaner road. The remains of the 18th-year-old PED plants are preserved in the residues of animals, which have now been transformed into stone. The tourists are amazed to see these things.

Amar Sagar Lake

This lake places an important place in Jaisalmers scenic spot. Distance from Jaisalmer of Amar Sagar Lake is about 5 km. It was constructed by Maharlal Amar Singh in 1784. On the other end of this lake is a beautiful Jain temple built by Ramesh Bafna in 1817. Around 1500 years old statue of Adiishwar God is installed in this temple. This lake attracts the salonies coming to Jaisalmers sightseeing from a distance.

National Math Garden

This park is located about 45 kilometers from Jaisalmer. Here the state bird of Rajasthan Godavana can be easily seen. Apart from this, black deer, chinkara, desert fox, sheep, pheasants, and gold chidiya are also found in abundance.

Bada Bagh and Chhataria

This place is the cremation ground of the Maharaja. It is about 5 km from Jaisalmer. Artistic chhattriya is a reminiscent of the Maharajas memory.

Lodhva

It is a town situated on the bank of Kak river. Which is located 16 kilometers from Jaisalmer. Before the settlement of Jaisalmer, this city used to be the capital of Bhatio. The Khubasoor Jain temple located here is mainly visible. In this temple, 23rd Tirthankara Lord Parshvanath has an attractive idol installed. At the main entrance there is an artistic arch door. This temple is a classic example of ancient art and culture. By the way, it had been built a long time ago. But rightly, its last resting house was made by the Sharasah Bhansali, resident of Jaisalmer in 1618.

Sam Sand Dunes

This place is about 42 kilometers from Jaisalmer. The sand looks far away from here. To see the mounds at the top of the sand, the tourists often visit Rajasthan.
