Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) recently announced that approximately 23 trains will be operated between Majlis Park and Lajpat Nagar station. In the new section Metro trains will cover six stations which are as follows - Sir Vishwaswaraya Moty Bag Station (after Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus) Bhikaji Cama Place Sarojini Nagar INA South Extension and Lajpat Nagar. Lajpat Nagar and INA will have interchangeable stations from where the metro passenger can change the trains for the violet line and the yellow line. Only Sir Vishweshwariya Moti Bagh is the only elevated station out of the new six metro stations covered on this section the rest are all Underground Metro Stations.

Pink Line Delhi Metro Route Map Stations List: Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus started operations from Monday (August 6) between Lajpat Nagar Station in Delhi Metro. At one o'clock in the afternoon Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Union Minister Ananth Kumar jointly inaugurated it. Tell us that this root on the Pink Line is about 8.10 kilometers long. It is also part of the Majlis Park-Shiva Vihar Corridor which falls under the third phase of Phase-III of Delhi Metro (Phase-3). After the completion of the entire corridor the distance of Shiv Vihar Station from Majlis Park to about 58.59 Kms has reached.

Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus will have the metro station of the capital's four major markets between Lajpat Nagar Station which is famous among the Delhiites for shopping. These include Lajpat Nagar INA South Extension and Sarojini Nagar Market Station. All these stations have been awarded platinum ratings by the Green Building Council of India.

These routes save passengers time apart from adding metro stations to major markets. For instance it will take five minutes and seven seconds to reach INA from Lajpat Nagar whereas it will take 28 minutes to 45 seconds to travel from Lajpat Nagar to Rajouri Garden. DMRC has so far not made any announcement regarding the rent for this section.
